About Preframed

Preframed is a free tool from StepItUpHR. At StepItUpHR, we care about improving the working lives of managers everywhere — and, by extension, the teams they lead. Better-prepared managers run better meetings. Better meetings mean less wasted time and more of the outcomes that actually matter.

Preframed exists to make meeting preparation just a little bit easier. Enter your department name, and it translates a set of universal, time-tested questions into language that fits your context — so you walk in ready, not reactive.

Where the questions came from

This tool was inspired by "7 Questions Every Recruiter Should Ask" on Taunboxed. Go read it — and show your support. After seeing that article, it occurred to us that there are likely more abstract but widely applicable versions of all these questions, ones that would hold value far beyond recruiting. That thought became Preframed.
